NO MORE CRY
[Gokusen 2 OST by D-51]

NO MORE CRY! NO MORE CRY!
NO MORE CRY! NO MORE CRY!

Ashitae NO MORE CRY !
To Tomorrow! No More Cry!
Ashitae NO MORE CRY!
To Tomorrow! No More Cry!

Konna ni taisetsu na hito ga
Someone this precious to me,
Chikaku ni iru koto sae mo
Even though they are right next to me,
Kidukazu ni namida nagashitari
They are crying and I don't realize it.

Tsukue no rakugaki no naka ni
Scribbled on the top of my desk,
Kagayaita yume no kakera
Are pieces of a glimmering dream,
Hitori mune ni kakushitari
I lock it up inside my heart.

Sonna LONELY DAYS
Those Lonely Days,
Kurikaesu no wa mou yame you
Let's not repeat them anymore.
Kono sora no iro ni kae you ..yeah
Let's change them into the color of the sky. Yeah!
Nigedasu koto ni narete itanda
I was used to running away;
Jibun dake dato susande tanda
Thinking I was all by myself.
Sonna kinou no boku ni wa sayonara
I'm saying ‘goodbye’ to those yesterdays!

Hashiri dasu yo! NO MORE CRY! NO MORE CRY!
I'm gonna run! No More Cry! No More Cry!
Kimi no te mo hiite yukeru
I'm going to hold on to your hand.

Ashitae NO MORE CRY! NO MORE CRY!
To Tomorrow! No More Cry! No More Cry!
Kanashimi janaku yorokobi no
Rather than the tears of sorrow
Namida wo nagashi tai
I want to shed tears of joy

Ano hi no kimi no yasashi sa ni
That day, you showed me kindness;
Sunao ni nare nai boku wa
I responded with harshness.
Chiisana te wo furi haratta
I just brushed off your tiny hand.

Hodoketa mama no kutsu himo ja hashire nai yo
With my shoelaces untied like this, I can't run.
Kono sora wo fukaku suikomou..yeah
So let's take a deep breath of that sky. Yeah!

Taisetsu na koto wasuretetanda
I have forgotten what is precious.
Mirai kara me wo sorashite tanda
I've turned my eyes away from the future.
Sonna kinou no boku ni wa sayonara
I'm saying goodbye to those yesterdays!

Hashiri dasu yo! NO MORE CRY! NO MORE CRY!
I'm gonna run! No More Cry! No More Cry!
Kimi ga soba ni ite kureta
You were always there for me,
Egao de NO MORE CRY! NO MORE CRY!
With a sweet smile.. No More Cry! No More Cry!
Nando demo yari naoseru
No matter how many times it takes, I will start over again

Talk to me about you,baby
Talk to me about you,baby
Konna ni mo kimi wo motomeru
I'm even begging you like this.
Itsudemo..stay with me for loving you, baby
Forever, stay with me for loving you, baby
Hitori dewa ikite yuke nai
Since you are alone, you cannot go forward.
Kitto.. dare mo ga
No one could!
Kogoeta yubisaki wo urete atatame taiyo
I want to warm your frozen fingers with my touch.
Me ni utsuru subete wo ima wa
Everything I see reflected in my eyes right now
Dakishimetai
I want to embrace it.

Hashiri dasu yo! NO MORE CRY! NO MORE CRY!
I'm gonna run! No More Cry! No More Cry!
Kimi no te mo hiite yukeru
I'm going to hold on to your hand.

Ashitae NO MORE CRY! NO MORE CRY!
To Tomorrow! No More Cry! No More Cry!
Kanashimi janaku yorokobi no
Rather than the tears of sorrow
Namida wo nagashi tai
I want to shed tears of joy

NO MORE CRY! NO MORE CRY!
No More Cry! No More Cry!
Kanashimi janaku yorokobi no
Rather than the tears of sorrow
Namida wo nagashi tai
I want to shed tears of joy

*sob sob*

Assalamualaikum..

Lately, I think I'm being overly sensitive.
By being sensitive I mean it's quite easy for me to cry these past few days.
I cried over a-little-bit-stupid thing like I did a few days back.
Last night, I even cried when watching the final episode of an American sitcom "Still Standing".
[I cried because last night's episode was about parents neglecting their child, not because the series ended,ok?=)]

And just now, while reading Cik Puan Asni's latest entry, I couldn't help myself but to shed tears.
Reading about what happened to Abah before the aqad, it made my heart sink.
Even though I already knew about the incident, but reading it through Asni's writing touched my heart again.
It shows how great a father could and should be, esapecially when it comes to marrying off your first child.
The part that saddens me most was when Asni said she didn't cry during the aqad, but *Abah did.
It's true, as I eye-witnessed that when Abah came into Asni's room and asked for her accordance for the aqad.
Abah's eyes were filled with tears.

Asni, I think since your engagement I finally could see the soft side of your Abah.
I mean, all this while, we always regarded Abah as the serious type, one that you could not bergurau with etc.
Perhaps, that mainly because we rarely have conversations with him. [Like we have with Ummi. =)]
Well, the new-found Abah that we know now is so sweet, and caring.
The same goes to Ummi.

To say that my over-sensitiveness these days is due to post-PMS, I think it's a bit overrated.
I come to a conclusion that the main reason is because I really² miss my family and friends.
The two weeks holidays spent with them, and suddenly working for the whole week after, is a bit too much for my emotions to handle.
I just need to see them.

A.S.A.P.

Wassalam~

*Abah+Ummi in this entry are Asni's parents. Hope I didn't confused anyone by referring her parents as Abah+Ummi. =)

Abah

Assalamualaykum.

This is Haji Hasan bin Yaacob.
My Abah.

A call from Abah yesterday...

Abah: Bakpo tok balik? [why didn't you come back(for the weekend)?]
Fizzy: Skoloh haghi ni. [I've school today]
Fizzy: Nati ghayo cuti strek. [for Raya,I'll have a longer break.]
Abah: Hrmmmm...

*silence*

Abah: Deme ko? [are you sick (flu)?]
Fizzy: Dok eh.. bakpo? [no.. why?]
Abah: Lain jah sogho.. [your voice sounds different..]

*tears*
♥ ♥ ♥

Abah missed me, right?
That's why we had such a conversation.

I miss him (and Ma) too .

But we don't utter "I Love You", or "I Miss You".
Not during phone calls or face to face.
That's just not our way.

Deep down I know that's the exact words Abah wanted to tell me.
And I wanted to tell him that too.
=)

Abah, even though I know you won't be reading this, but I just want to say;

I U, Abah

Wassalam.

Patient!

Assalamualaykum.

Just finished my class with my Year 6 kids.
Well, today I think my patience goes up way beyond the limit.
Why? Read below.
The scenes happen in the same day (which is today-lah).

+++++++++++
Scene 1:

TeacherFizzy: I want you to take out the homework that I asked you to do. Put up your hands those who didn't finish that homework.

(almost half of the class put up their hands.)

TeacherFizzy: Was it that hard?I only asked you to write 10 SIMPLE sentences using words that I had already given you the meanings. And we have gone through the words a few times already!

Those who didn't finish their homework, I want you to get out of my class. Get out! I don't have time for those who are not interested in learning.

(students obidiently [and happily] got out of the class.)

* * *

Scene 2:

TeacherFizzy: I want each of you to share your sentences with your friends, write it on the board. 1 sentence for 1 person.

(the remaining students began writing on the board.)

TeacherFizzy: "Just now, I drew my mother and father picture." Amer, what do you want to say here actually? 'Saya lukis gambar ibu bapa saya', atau 'saya melukis gambar untuk ibu bapa saya'?

(no answer.)

TeacherFizzy: Do you hear me? Apa maksud ayat yang awak tulis ni? Come on, your wrote it yourself, mesti la tahu maksud kan? Saya bukan marah, saya nak tahu apa yang awak cuba maksudkan lepas tu saya akan betulkan lah.

(still no answer, he didn't even look at me when I asked him.)

TeacherFizzy: Amer!! Saya dah cakap BM ni. Faham tak soalan saya? Saya cuma nak tahu maksud ayat awak ni. Bukan saya kata ayat awak salah. Bila dah tahu apa yang awak cuba sampaikan, baru saya boleh betulkan mana-mana yang patut. Kalau tak, jadi lain pulak. Awak akan salah faham nanti!

(he remained silent and my body started shaking, tears suddenly filled my eyes.)

TeacherFizzy: MasyaAllah! Answer me, Amer. Is it that hard to understand my question? Itu ayat yang awak buat sendiri, bukan ayat yang saya bagi. So you MUST know the meaning kan?

(tears rolled down my cheek by now..)

Amer: "Saya melukis gambar ibu bapa saya."

TeacherFizzy: There!!! Boleh pun jawab. Itu lah yang saya tanya dari tadi lagi. That's what I want to hear. Kenapa dari tadi awak tak bagi maksud tu? Nak saya menangis dulu baru awak nak jawab? So, your sentence should be like this: " Just now, I drew a picture of my mother and father."

(after a bit of 'lecture', the class continue as usual.)

+++++++++

Yeah, I cried in front of my students.
The first time this year.
Does that make me a bad teacher?
I do sound like one, don't I?

Sigh~

Wassalam.

Dedication.

Assalamualaikum...

According to my blogspot count, this entry will be my 121st..
Cheisss.. from March 2005 until June 2007 with this account, that's all I came up with?
I guess I'm not much of a writer as I always want to be.
LOL

I was blog hopping just now and saw a blog that reminded me of my first one.
Yeah, to those who only knew me from this blog, I actually started blogging since 2004.
9th june 2004 to be precise.
That blog though, I reckon it was a sort of 'dedication' to someone that used to be quite special to me.
(Get your facts correct now my dear friends, he was not my bf. I just adored him, that's all.)

(click on the picture to visit my old blog.)

I don't know why I felt this sudden urge to pay a visit to my old 'home'.
Reading some of the entries I posted there when I was still a student.
Hahahahaha. I felt 3 years younger all of a sudden.
You know, reading about my crush and all.
How I came up with poems for him et cetera.
But I'm so over him by now, okay? Seriously.
(But not the other one... hahahahaha..)

Why blogging?
That's one helluva question..
I guess my MAIN reason is to get my brain working.
You see, unlike some people who can write straight from their mind, I have to think before I write.
I've to think A LOT.
Please don't get me wrong, I'm not saying y'all don't think before you write.
We all do.
But I'm a grammar freak, and a spelling freak.
So I double, or triple checked my entries before I post them.
Hehehehehehe.

Once, I told Kak Ruby how I really wanted to write as good as her.
Alas, I still have a long way to go judging from the 'frequency' of my posts.
I don't write that much in order to be on a par with her.
I always get jealous (in a good way-lah) with people who write so well.
I think they are gifted.

But blogging is not just about writing or updating stuff about my oh-so-boring life.

I made friends.
Though some of which I may only contact via this cyberspace, but they are my friends nonetheless.
And I love them as much.
From blogging I get to know these special people and a lot more that are beyond description.

♥ ♥ ♥
Kak Ruby.
A great woman, so full of life and young at heart.

Abe Id.
A great man, so full of life and young at heart.

Stupe.
I like his straight forward-ness. (if there's such a word lah.)

Mr Incognito.
I learn a lot for this 'anonymous' guy.

Kak pB.
She's like an older sister to me, I think I can talk about almost everything with her.

Pa'chik.
Extraordinary. (Oh, is he that incredible?) Hehehehe..
♥ ♥ ♥

In the end, I think blogging have done good to me.
So I think I'll write more in the future..

Wassalam.

*Of Kelantan and pride

Assalamualaykum..

Last night while waiting for his flight back to KL, a very good friend of mine texted me.
It was a bit odd, as we rarely exchange text messages since he and I worked.
[My friends should know that I prefer phone call rather than text.]
But last night was different because his messages came when I was watching a Korean drama on air.
So, a phone call might 'jeopardize' me watching the lovely couple in the story. LOL
And having him replying to my texts with a speed of light, that's even more peculiar.
I guess he was damn bored last night, having no one around to talk to.
And I was right.

He sent me something interesting last night, I thought I'd share it with you.
I laughed aloud when I read it, but I had to agree with him about it.
So I quote:

"You can take a man out of Kelate, but you can't take Kelate out of him."

That's so true, you know.
Perhaps if you have friends or somebody you know who are from Kelantan, you can prove that to be true. Hehehehhehe.

I remembered when I was in Maktab, a friend from Johore asked me why do we Kelantanese always have that kind of 'aura' among us.
As if we know everyone from the our state.
I just laughed, not being able to explain to her as I myself can't understand it.
Whenever we the Kelantanese meet, most of us (if not all), just clicked!
I think you'd agree if I say that you can find Kelantanese in almost every part of Malaysia.
So being the 'minorities' in a not-so-foreign land, kinda make us extra happy to see somebody from where we come from.
LOL

Another thing that my friends (who aren't from Kelantan) always complaining about is the Kelantan men and their dialects.
They said it's like "irama dan lagu, tak boleh nak dipisahkan."
Again I laughed, while agreeing that to be true too.

Well, I don't know...
I guess this theory of the 'invisible' bond between the Kelantanese is unique.
As well as the Kelantan males who are overly proud of their slang.
Please, I'm not saying that other states are not equally unique or interesting.
We do have our own speciality, don't we all?
:)

"You can take me out of Kelate, but you can't take Kelate out of me."
[Chewah!!!]

♥ ♥ ♥
"che'gu,
nok tunggu puan asni buleh anok ko baru nok apdeit? jange pulok tunggu ado cucu deh.. lamo sangak pulok..."
(Yes, pa'chik.. saya update ni.. hehehehe..)

♥ ♥ ♥

Wassalam~

*added on 13June: I was so excited writing about this yesterday, I forgot to give this entry a title. LOL.

Congratulations!

Assalamualaykum, people.

A shout out to my best friend Cik Asni who's now legally a Cik Puan.

CONGRATULATIONS, Asni+Abg Asib!

The akad nikah was held around 9pm @Cik Puan Asni's house on the 1st of June.
Both Asni and Abg Asib were surprisingly so calm that night .
And Alhamdulillah, with one lafaz, Cik Puan Asni became Mrs. Asib. =)
Some TKC and UIA friends who attended the akad nikah, shed happy tears upon seeing the couple finally joined together in a Holy matrimony.
I was one of them.

A funny (but so sweet) thing happened that night.
I shall not elaborate, let's leave you in a curiousity.
Hehehehehe..
[Cik Puan Asni, perhaps you can elaborate in your blog later? la la la..]

The next day, a kenduri took place.
Photography session was hectic, especially with us TKCians around. LOL
Thank God we didn't broke the pelamin. :D
But it was so wonderful seeing the couple.
Still shy, but so loving I thought I could almost see their love shining through their eyes that day.

Another amazing thing that day was the fact that my friends and I had a sort of little TKC9600 reunion among us.
Seeing faces that I haven't met since my last day in TKC.
And meeting a friend that I missed so dearly.
To Shambie, Aboon, Aliza, Adrin, Shaxu, Idya, Atie, Feiyah, Baini, Haida, Marr, Firah, Anis, Inamadz, Wan, Kiau and Jaja.. you guys ROCK!!

Now, how about some photos?

♥ ♥ ♥

Last day as Cik Asni.

The hantaran from Asni's side

Akad Nikah in process.

Sweetnya~

Raja Sehari

Merenung masa depan bahagia? Aminnn~

Asni and her shoulder to cry on.

Mr and Mrs Asib

♥ ♥ ♥

Asni's wedding left something special in my heart.
Maybe because I felt so involved in her journey to her new life as a wife.
From her engagement ceremony until the wedding, I was so glad to be a part of them.
And Cik Puan Asni, if you're reading this, thanks for the lovely experience+memories you gave me throughout the journey.
The happiness and sadness, laughters and cries and stories that we shared.
Those were the things that money can't buy and time can't erase.
FYI, these past few days had been so meaningful and wonderful to me.
I wish you well in your new life as Mrs. Asib.
Many happy years ahead.
Take care my friend, and good luck!

Wassalam~
